snowdrop at museum Belvedere Heerenveen
Trees, plants, insects, birds and a lot of flowers can be found this summer at Museum Belvedere in Heerenveen. The exhibition Oasis Oranjewoud shows work of photographers, painters, multi media artists and sculptors who find their inspiration in all things that grow. Starting point of the exhibition are the botanical pictures of the Verkade books printed in the 1930’s in the Netherlands. Linda’s snowdrops are shown with the paintings of Jan Keizer and the 3D paintings of Arjan van Arendonk.
The museum is situated in the heart of Friesland, a lovely province in the north of the Netherlands and with it’s stunning views on the surrounding landscape, definitely worth a visit.
