The dandelions are the very first large size flowers I made. The plants are made of dark green plastic and tower well over your head. I created the flowers out of pure admiration for the plant. During spring and summer you can find dandelions everywhere. On the side of the road, in the cracks of the pavement, among the weed in the garden. Carelessly present, it fills up the corners of our lives. It survived many ordeals, too useless to exploit, too ugly for our paradise. And yet a subtle proof of an intangible nature. When I look at a dandelion I feel humble, kneel down and ask for forgiveness.
