KLM, the Royal Dutch Airlines commissioned me to make an art work for their headquarters in Amstelveen. Instead of using new materials they proposed to design the art work with used airplane parts and used KLM clothing, a perfect example of upclycling! I designed a blue Cichorei, a common flower in the Netherlands. In 2019 KLM, the Royal Dutch Airlines celebrated their 100th anniversary, so I made 100 flower leaves, one for each year.
