Morning Glory

For the office of the IKNL, the quality institute for oncological and palliative research and practice in Utrecht, I designed two flower arrangements. The institute moved to a new space and wanted to bring more warmth and character to the office. At first they wanted to buy large plants to brighten up the place. But the care for plants was a daunting prospect. Then they considered buying paintings to put on the wall. But it was to hard to chose what kind of painting. One of the staff members saw an exhibition of my flowers and suggested my designs. A few months later the office was decorated with a morning glory growing from the ceiling. On another floor of the Institute’s office a flower arrangement is lying on a cabinet.
