Cabbage Rose in museum Staal

This summer, the “cabbage rose” can be seen at Museum Staal in the beautiful village of Almen in the east of the Netherlands. Right across from the museum stands the charming old church of Almen. During the summer, the church opens its doors to showcase large art installations from the museum. This year, the cabbage rose can be seen in the church. We created the cabbage rose five years ago for the Noord Brabants Museum in Den Bosch, and it is based on the painting by Cornelis van Spaendonck.
